Cookie Run: Crumble Beginner Guide — How to Play
CookieRun: Crumble is a deck-building idle survivor from Devsisters. You move a team of Cookies around an open arena while they auto-attack waves of enemies and unleash skills. This guide covers everything a new player needs at launch.
The core loop
- Build a team of up to 12 Cookies and drop into survivor-style maps.
- Cookies attack automatically and periodically fire their skills — your job is positioning: move the team to dodge, group enemies, and survive the swarm.
- Clear waves and bosses (like Giant Goldie Drop) to earn upgrades and currency.
The three classes
Every Cookie is a Vanguard, Defender, or Shooter. A balanced team wants a frontline, a survivability anchor, and ranged damage. Full breakdown in our classes guide.
Game modes
- Survivor idle maps — the main horde-survivor stages.
- Crumble Dungeon — progression / farming content.
- Plaque Tower — a climb for rewards.
- Arena (PvP) — competitive team battles.
- Guild features for group play.
Best first steps at launch
- Spend your pre-registration Crystals wisely — check the reroll guide before pulling.
- Build one of each class early so you’re not too squishy or too slow.
- Prioritise a strong Defender and Shooter — see the pre-launch tier list.
- Redeem any launch codes for extra currency.
