Brightseeker Cookie is live. She arrived in the August 27, 2026 update as a TSSR / Light / Ranged unit whose signature skill is Satellite Shock. Until that patch she was an announced-but-unreleased Alternative Cookie, and this page said so — the record of what changed is at the bottom.
What the August 27 notice actually states
- Rarity, element, role: TSSR, Light, Ranged.
- Skill — Satellite Shock: summons Lollipop Drones that fire a beam at a single target, ending with an explosive blast.
- How to get her: through the banner running with the update. Banner windows are not announced far ahead, so read the in-game notice rather than a fan site screenshot.
Devsisters’ own press release of 27 August 2026 lists exactly those fields and nothing more. Damage coefficients, cooldown and promotion costs were not published, so they are absent here too. A number nobody published is not a number, and a tier placement built on one is a guess wearing a table.

How to test her without burning materials
Keep the frontline and Support core you already trust, swap only your ranged damage slot, and record the result separately in Story, Daily Dungeon and Guild Conquest. A Light attacker looks strongest against Dark content, so a single blended average will flatter or punish her depending on what you happened to run. If she does not beat your current ranged Cookie at the same investment level in at least two of those three, she is not yet worth promotion materials.
Three sources, three spellings
The English notice writes Brightseeker Cookie; Devsisters’ Japanese press release and the Korean coverage both write Bright Seeker Cookie. This site follows the English notice — the same rule that applied when Plaque Tower shipped as Implant Tower. Her pre-launch billing as an Alternative Cookie (a familiar face returned through a dimensional gate with a different class and kit) still describes what she is.
What changed on this page, and when
- Until 2026-08-27 this page said Brightseeker was announced but unreleased, with no class, element or skill — which was correct at the time; two independent 69-Cookie launch rosters did not contain her.
- 2026-08-27 the update shipped her, with the role and skill above.
- 2026-09-03 the localised versions of this page were brought in line with the English one. Between September 2 and 3 they still said she could not be pulled, which was wrong, and this line is here rather than a silent overwrite.
