What Sugarcloud Express does
Two stages. Star candy for damage, then a dream train that knocks back and damages enemies.
The train is where the damage sits: 61.1% of ATK per tick, every 0.33 seconds, for 2.5 seconds — and it can run up to twice in a row. That is roughly 7 ticks per pass, so a double pass is around 14 instances of 61.1%.
Damage delivered as many small ticks behaves differently from one large hit. It applies to whatever is standing in the train’s path over the whole 2.5 seconds, which suits enemies that keep walking into it — the endless-swarm shape Crumble is built around.
The knockback conflict with Espresso
This is the practical thing to know about her, and it is specific rather than generic.
Espresso Cookie’s Grinding gathers enemies (Gathering: 15) into a pile. Milky Way’s dream train knocks them back. The two effects work against each other: Espresso spends his cooldown assembling a cluster, and Milky Way’s train scatters it.
They share the same Range Synergy, so they look like natural teammates on paper. They are not. If you own both, run them on different teams, or accept that neither is getting full value.
Cookies that pair better with Milky Way are ones that do not care where enemies stand — Twizzly Gummy Cookie, whose chaining lightning finds targets wherever they are, or Tanks that hold a line the train can sweep along.
Who buffs her
She receives Range Synergy, the best-supplied in the game:
| Provider | Rarity | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda | SSR | 3.5s |
| Knight | U | 5.0s |
| Toothpaste | SSR | 6.5s |
| Macaron | SR | 7.0s |
More Range means a wider train path, which means more enemies walk into those 61.1% ticks. Cream Soda at 3.5 seconds gives the best uptime; Knight at U rarity means even a thin roster can cover it.
Competition: the other SSR Ranged Cookies
All six share the same base stats (155 ATK / 60 DEF / 2,170 HP), so this is a skill comparison only:
| Cookie | Cooldown | Damage shape | Receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Twizzly Gummy | 3.5s | Chaining lightning | Chain |
| Scorpion | 4.2s | Damage over time | Volley, Duration |
| Melon Soda | 5.2s | Rapid forward fire | Rapid Fire |
| Espresso | 6.0s | Gather + explosion | Range |
| Milky Way | 6.5s | Ticking train + knockback | Range |
| Cream Puff | 7.0s | Jelly whirlwind | Duration |
She is second-slowest on cooldown. Her case over Espresso — the other Range Ranged Cookie — is that her damage is sustained across 2.5 seconds rather than concentrated in one explosion, which is more reliable against enemies that arrive in a stream rather than all at once.
Should you build her?
Yes if you do not already run Espresso; she is the more consistent of the two Range Ranged Cookies and her Synergy is trivially covered.
If you do run Espresso, pick one. The gather-versus-knockback conflict is real and neither Cookie gets its full value on a team with the other.
Her Light element cuts both ways against Dark — see the element chart.

Skill name, cooldown and Synergy from the Cookie Run Wiki Milky Way Crumble page, read August 5, 2026. The 61.1% / 0.33s / 2.5s / twice-in-a-row figures were cross-checked against independent English coverage, which agreed.
We have not played her ourselves; no tier placement is claimed here. The Espresso conflict is inferred from the two published skill descriptions (Gathering versus Knockback), not measured in play.
FAQ
What is Milky Way Cookie's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Sugarcloud Express, on a 6.5-second cooldown. She throws star candy for damage, then summons a dream train that knocks back and damages enemies. The train deals 61.1% of ATK per tick, every 0.33 seconds for 2.5 seconds, and can run up to twice in a row.
Which Cookies boost Milky Way in Cookie Run: Crumble?
She receives Range Synergy, granted by four Cookies: Cream Soda (SSR, 3.5s), Knight (U, 5s), Toothpaste (SSR, 6.5s) and Macaron (SR, 7s). Range is the best-supplied Synergy in the game.
Should you run Milky Way and Espresso together in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Not ideally. Espresso's skill gathers enemies into a pile; Milky Way's dream train knocks them back. Running both means one Cookie undoing the other's setup, even though they share the same Range Synergy.
What element is Milky Way Cookie in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Light. She deals extra damage to Dark enemies and takes extra damage from Dark — Light and Dark counter each other in both directions.
