Cream Soda Cookie is an SSR Water-element Charge in CookieRun: Crumble. Her skill Cream Soda Blade runs on a 3.5-second cooldown — and that number matters more than her damage, because she is the fastest source of the game’s most wanted Synergy.

What Cream Soda Blade does
She swings her sword for damage, then sends out waves that damage surrounding enemies and grant Range Synergy to allies.
The wave portion fires 8 projectiles at 42% of ATK each. Eight small hits rather than one large one has a specific consequence in Crumble: each projectile can be modified independently by Synergy, so effects that add pierce, count or speed multiply across all eight rather than applying once.
The 3.5-second cooldown is the point
Range Synergy is received by 18 Cookies — more than any other Synergy in the game — and only four Cookies grant it:
| Provider | Rarity | Class | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda | SSR | Charge | 3.5s |
| Knight | U | Tank | 5.0s |
| Toothpaste | SSR | Support | 6.5s |
| Macaron | SR | Support | 7.0s |
She refreshes Range twice for every once that Macaron does. For a carry whose entire kit scales with area — Espresso’s gather-and-detonate, for instance — that difference compounds across a whole fight.
She is a Charge, which is structurally unusual
Almost every Synergy provider in this game is a Support parked at the back. Cream Soda is a Charge — a frontline unit. That means a single roster slot covers two jobs that would otherwise cost two slots:
- The frontline body that holds the swarm off your Ranged carry
- The Range Synergy that carry needs
On a 12-Cookie team that flexibility is worth more than it looks. It is also why she appears in team recommendations that have nothing to do with her personal damage.
Who she pairs with
Among top-rarity Cookies that receive Range:
- Espresso Cookie (SSR Ranged) — his gather-and-detonate catches more enemies with a bigger radius. The most natural pairing in the game.
- Milky Way Cookie (SSR Ranged) — same Synergy, though her knockback works against Espresso if you run all three.
- Madeleine Cookie (SSR Tank) — receives Range and Projectile Speed, so he stacks with Cream Soda and Pomegranate simultaneously.
- Nameless Cake Hound and Schwarzwälder (SSR Tanks) — both receive Range.
What she herself receives is Projectile Speed, granted by Pomegranate Cookie (SSR, 10.0s) and Alchemist Cookie (R, 4.5s). Alchemist is an R-rarity unit with a 4.5-second cooldown, so this is another case where a cheap Cookie covers an expensive one’s needs.
Competition: the other SSR Charges
| Cookie | Skill | Cooldown | Grants | Receives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda | Cream Soda Blade | 3.5s | Range | Projectile Speed |
| Strawberry Shortcake | Giant Cake Hound | 6.2s | Pierce | Projectile Speed |
| Vampire | Vampirism | 6.0s | — | Chain |
| Skating Queen | A Perfect Perfomance | 8.0s | Chain | Duration |
Three of the four grant a Synergy, and Cream Soda’s cooldown is nearly half the next fastest. Strawberry Shortcake is the alternative worth weighing: she grants Pierce, which is one of the two rarest Synergies (only two providers exist), so she is harder to replace even though her cooldown is worse.
The practical rule: if your carry receives Range, Cream Soda. If your carry receives Pierce — Wind Archer, for instance — Strawberry Shortcake, because there is almost no alternative.
Should you build her?
Yes, if you are building a team around any Ranged carry. She is not primarily a damage pick; she is the cheapest way to keep the most common Synergy in the game running at high uptime, and she occupies a frontline slot you needed to fill anyway.
Her Water element means extra damage against Fire enemies and extra damage taken from Grass. See the element chart.
