Cookie Run: Crumble — Oven Wanderer Cookie (TSSR Charge)

Oven Wanderer Cookie is a TSSR Fire-element Charge in CookieRun: Crumble — one of only two TSSR Cookies in the launch roster, and the only one Devsisters put on the front page of the official site. Its skill Brave Slash runs on a 6.75-second cooldown.

What Brave Slash does

Three stages fire in sequence:

1. Fiery sword techniques deal damage to the enemy
2. It charges toward enemies with high ATK, damaging those nearby
3. After the charge, a ground explosion damages nearby enemies

The targeting is the interesting part. Like Vampire Cookie, it seeks out high-ATK enemies rather than whatever is closest — so in a mixed wave it goes for the units actually doing the killing, not the fodder.

That behaviour suits a frontline Charge in an auto-battler, where you have no control over positioning. The Cookie makes its own decision about what matters.

The TSSR stat floor

Rarity in Crumble sets base stats by class. Wind Archer Cookie, the other TSSR, has 190 ATK / 60 DEF / 2,660 HP as a TSSR Ranged Cookie — against 155 / 60 / 2,170 for an SSR Ranged. Oven Wanderer’s own figures are not published in the same form, but TSSR sits above the SSR Charge template of 146 ATK / 85 DEF / 2,635 HP.

The cooldown is its weakest number

Being direct about it. 6.75 seconds is slow for a Charge:

Only Skating Queen is slower among the higher rarities, and several R and U Charges cycle in under 2.5 seconds. What Oven Wanderer buys with that time is a three-stage skill with target selection, rather than a single hit.

Chain Synergy: two providers, both slow

It receives Chain Synergy, tied for the rarest Synergy in the game:

Unlike Range — where four providers exist and one refreshes every 3.5 seconds — Chain has two options and both are on 8-second cooldowns. There is no fast way to keep it up.

The choice between them is positional rather than numerical: Skating Queen is a Charge (frontline, alongside Oven Wanderer), Lime is a Support (back line). Take whichever slot you need filled.

Oven Wanderer shares Chain with Twizzly Gummy Cookie (SSR Ranged) and Vampire Cookie (SSR Charge), so one provider can serve several carries. Full table on the Synergy page.

It grants nothing

Worth stating plainly, because rarity encourages the opposite assumption. Only 18 of the 69 Cookies grant a Synergy, and Oven Wanderer is not one of them — nor is Wind Archer. Neither TSSR contributes a Synergy to the team.

That does not make them weak; it means a team built around either still needs a separate Cookie supplying the Synergy they receive. Pulling the flagship unit does not remove the Synergy problem from team building.

Alternative Cookie

Oven Wanderer is an Alternative form of Brave Cookie — an existing character who crossed a dimensional gate and appears here changed. Alternative Cookies are a concept introduced with Crumble; Milk Cookie’s Crunchy Strong Pediatrician and Space Doughnut’s Royal Excellence are others in the launch roster.

Element

Fire. It deals extra damage to Grass enemies and takes extra damage from Water. As a Charge that pushes into the swarm, the matchup is felt directly. See the element chart.

Should you build it?

Yes if you have it. TSSR is the highest rarity in the game and only two Cookies hold it, so the stat floor alone justifies the investment.

Two things to plan around. The 6.75-second cooldown means its contribution arrives in occasional large pulses rather than continuously — pair it with a fast Cookie if your team needs steady pressure. And its Chain Synergy needs one of two specific Cookies, both slow; if you own neither, it runs un-amplified, which is the same position Twizzly Gummy is in.
