Four jobs in one skill
Most skills in Crumble do one or two things. This one does four:
- Bow swing — damage to enemies
- Shockwave — pushes back enemies ahead
- Musical notes — damage to enemies they hit
- Healing — restores HP to allies
And it grants Range Synergy on top of that.
The healing is the part that changes team construction. Most teams need a dedicated healer and a Synergy provider; Toothpaste is both, which frees a slot.
Range is the most valuable Synergy to supply
18 of the 69 Cookies receive Range Synergy — more than any other. Only four Cookies grant it:
| Provider | Rarity | Class | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda | SSR | Charge | 3.5s |
| Knight | U | Tank | 5.0s |
| Toothpaste | SSR | Support | 6.5s |
| Macaron | SR | Support | 7.0s |
Cream Soda is faster. What Toothpaste adds that Cream Soda does not is the healing and the back-line position — Cream Soda is a Charge who has to be in the fight.
If you own both, they are not redundant: they cover different slots and refresh Range at different points in the cycle.
Toothpaste or Pomegranate?
This is the real decision, since both are SSR Supports and most teams field one.
| Toothpaste | Pomegranate | |
|---|---|---|
| Grants | Range (18 recipients) | Projectile Speed (8 recipients) |
| Cooldown | 6.5s | 10.0s |
| Uptime | Intermittent | ~90% (9s duration) |
| Unconditional buff | Healing | +46.5% ATK to all allies |
| Receives | Volley | Volley |
Take Toothpaste when your carry receives Range. The Synergy reaches more than twice as many Cookies, and you get healing in the same slot.
Take Pomegranate otherwise. Her ATK buff applies regardless of Synergy matching and is up roughly 90% of the fight, so she contributes to a roster she has no Synergy overlap with at all.
Both receive Volley, granted by Herb Cookie (SR, 6.5s), Tiger Lily Cookie (SR, 10.0s) and Cheesecake Cookie (R, 8.0s) — so a Herb pick buffs whichever of the two you run.
Team fit
His natural partners are the Range recipients: Espresso Cookie (the gather-and- detonate radius grows), Milky Way Cookie, and among Tanks Madeleine, Nameless Cake Hound and Schwarzwälder.
Grass element means extra damage to Water enemies and extra taken from Fire, though as a back-line Support he should rarely be the one being hit. See the element chart.
Should you build him?
Yes, if any Cookie on your team receives Range — which, at 18 recipients, is more likely than not. The combination of the most widely-used Synergy plus healing in one slot is efficient in a way few Supports match.
If your carry does not receive Range, he is still a healer, but Pomegranate is the better generic pick.

FAQ
What is Toothpaste Cookie's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Electronic Battlefield Orchestra, on a 6.5-second cooldown. He swings his bow for damage, pushes back enemies with a shockwave, damages enemies hit by musical notes, and restores HP to allies — while granting Range Synergy.
Is Toothpaste better than Pomegranate in Cookie Run: Crumble?
They cover different jobs. Toothpaste grants Range, which 18 Cookies receive — more than any other Synergy. Pomegranate grants Projectile Speed to 8 Cookies but buffs team ATK unconditionally and has near-permanent uptime. Take Toothpaste if your carry receives Range; take Pomegranate otherwise.
Which Cookies benefit from Toothpaste in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Any of the 18 Range recipients, including Espresso Cookie, Milky Way Cookie, Madeleine Cookie, Nameless Cake Hound and Schwarzwälder. That is the widest reach of any Synergy in the game.
Does Toothpaste Cookie heal in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Yes. His skill restores HP to allies alongside the damage, pushback and Synergy grant. That makes him one of the few Cookies covering healing and Synergy in a single slot.
