Cookie Run: Crumble — Cheesecake Cookie (R Support)

Cheesecake Cookie — CookieRun: Crumble

Cheesecake Cookie is an R-rarity Light-element Support in CookieRun: Crumble. Her skill Cheerful Invitation! runs on an 8-second cooldown and does two things at once: it raises allies’ ATK, and it grants Volley Synergy. The second half is why she is worth a page.

What Cheerful Invitation! does

The in-game text reads: “Orbiting letters increase Allies’ ATK and grant Volley Synergy.”

That is the whole kit. No damage number, no heal, no shield, no enemy debuff — a flat team ATK increase plus a Synergy, refreshed every 8 seconds. Compare that with the other R-rarity Cookies, most of which just hit things.

Two things the skill text does not tell us, and we are not going to guess at them: how large the ATK increase is, and how long either effect lasts before the next cast. Other Cookies’ skill text lists a Synergy value and a Synergy Duration separately — Herb Cookie grants Volley 1 for 3.5 seconds on a 6.5-second cooldown, for example — but those figures are not published for Cheesecake in the data we work from. An 8-second cooldown is the slowest of the three Volley providers, so if her uptime works the same way, hers is the most intermittent of the three.

Base ATK / DEF / HP are not published for R-rarity Cookies either. The documented stat templates cover SSR only, so there is no stat table here rather than a borrowed one.

Granting Volley is her actual job

Only 18 of the 69 launch Cookies grant a Synergy at all. Cheesecake is one of them, which puts her in a different bracket from the average low-rarity unit. A Cookie that grants a Synergy is team infrastructure; a Cookie that only receives one is a body.

Volley increases how many projectiles fire at once. It has exactly three sources:

Volley provider Rarity Class Cooldown
Herb Cookie SR Support 6.5s
Cheesecake Cookie R Support 8.0s
Tiger Lily Cookie SR Charge 10.0s

She is the slower of the two Supports and the cheapest of the three. That trade is the point: an R-rarity Cookie covers a Synergy that otherwise costs you an SR pull, and she is only 1.5 seconds behind Herb. Tiger Lily is slower still and occupies a frontline Charge slot instead of a back-line one, so for most teams the real choice is Cheesecake or Herb.

Nine Cookies receive Volley:

  • Ion Cookie Robot (SSR Tank)
  • Pomegranate Cookie (SSR Support)
  • Scorpion Cookie (SSR Ranged)
  • Toothpaste Cookie (SSR)
  • Licorice Cookie (SR Tank)
  • Lime Cookie (SR Support)
  • Gumball Cookie (U Tank)
  • Blueberry Bird (C Support)
  • Ninja Cookie (C Ranged)

If one or more of those is on your team, Cheesecake has a job. If none are, the Synergy half of her skill is switched off and you are running an ATK buff on an 8-second timer.

One chain worth noticing: Lime Cookie receives Volley and grants Chain, so pointing Cheesecake at Lime lights up a second Synergy one step further down the team. Full provider and recipient lists are on the Synergy page.

Who buffs Cheesecake

She receives Pierce, which increases how many enemies an attack passes through. Two Cookies grant it:

Pierce provider Rarity Class Cooldown
Strawberry Shortcake Cookie SSR Charge 6.25s
Rockstar Cookie SR Support 10.0s

Strawberry Shortcake is the better pairing on cooldown alone — 6.25 seconds against 10 — and as a Charge she takes a frontline slot rather than competing with Cheesecake for the back line. Rockstar is a Support, so running Rockstar plus Cheesecake spends two Support slots to buff one of them.

This is worth flagging because it breaks the pattern this site keeps running into elsewhere. Range has a U-rarity provider (Knight), Rapid Fire has an R-rarity one (Grapevine), Projectile Speed has an R-rarity one (Alchemist). Pierce has neither — its only two sources are SSR and SR. So Cheesecake is a cheap Cookie who supplies a Synergy to nine others but cannot have her own covered cheaply.

There is also a plain reading question here: Pierce affects attacks passing through enemies, and Cheerful Invitation! as written does no damage. Whether the orbiting letters count as attacks is not stated in the skill text, and we have not verified it in play. Treat Pierce on her as unquantified.

The R Support field

There are only two R-rarity Supports in the launch roster, and she is one of them.

Cookie Skill Cooldown Grants Receives
Grapevine Cookie Overly Rich Juice 5.5s Rapid Fire Range
Cheesecake Cookie Cheerful Invitation! 8.0s Volley Pierce

Grapevine cycles 2.5 seconds faster and grants Rapid Fire, which twelve Cookies want and only two supply — the tightest bottleneck in the game. On raw scarcity, Grapevine is the more valuable R Support, and it is also a free starter Cookie, so most players have it already.

That does not make Cheesecake redundant. They grant different Synergies to different Cookies, and there is no reason not to field both if your team wants Volley and Rapid Fire. But if you are choosing which R Support to spend resources on first and neither Synergy is live on your team, Grapevine is the safer pick.

Element

Light. She deals extra damage to Dark enemies and takes extra damage from Dark, since Light and Dark counter each other both ways. With no damage attached to her skill, the defensive half is what matters: Dark stages are where she is most fragile. See the element chart.

Should you build her?

Yes, if you run a Volley recipient and don’t own Herb or Tiger Lily. She is the cheapest way into a Synergy with only three sources, and 8 seconds against Herb’s 6.5 is a gap you can live with while you wait for a better pull.

No, if you already have Herb Cookie. Herb grants the same Synergy 1.5 seconds faster and heals on top of it. There is no case for levelling Cheesecake past that point except to field both.

And no, if nothing on your team takes Volley. Stripped of the Synergy she is an 8-second ATK buff from an R-rarity Support with no healing and no protection, and an SR or SSR Support will do more with the slot.

Like most low-rarity Cookies she is a stopgap. The difference is what survives when she gets replaced: it is the Volley, not the Cookie, and until you pull Herb she is the only cheap way to have it.

FAQ

What is Cheesecake Cookie's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?

Cheerful Invitation!, on an 8-second cooldown. Orbiting letters increase allies' ATK and grant Volley Synergy. It is a two-part support skill with no damage, no healing and no shield.

Which Cookies get Volley Synergy from Cheesecake Cookie?

Nine Cookies receive Volley: Ion Cookie Robot, Pomegranate Cookie, Scorpion Cookie, Toothpaste Cookie, Licorice Cookie, Lime Cookie, Gumball Cookie, Blueberry Bird and Ninja Cookie. Cheesecake is one of only three Cookies in the launch roster that grant it.

Which Cookies boost Cheesecake Cookie in Cookie Run: Crumble?

Cheesecake receives Pierce Synergy, which only two Cookies grant: Strawberry Shortcake Cookie (SSR Charge, 6.25-second cooldown) and Rockstar Cookie (SR Support, 10 seconds). Neither is cheap, so this is one Synergy a low-rarity roster cannot cover.

Is Cheesecake Cookie worth building in Cookie Run: Crumble?

Build her if you run any of the nine Volley recipients and do not own Herb Cookie or Tiger Lily Cookie. She is the cheapest source of Volley in the game. As a general Support she is plain, and Herb cycles 1.5 seconds faster.
