What Vampirism does

He throws juice for damage, then transforms into a bat, dealing damage to high-ATK enemies and reducing their Accuracy.

Two details make this unusual:

He targets high-ATK enemies specifically. Most skills in Crumble hit whatever is in front of them or nearest. Vampire seeks the enemies that hurt most — which in a swarm means he ignores the fodder and goes for the threat.

Accuracy reduction is a defensive effect from an offensive class. Lowering enemy Accuracy means fewer of their attacks land. Delivered by a frontline Charge, that protects the team indirectly without needing a Tank slot for it.

As with Dark Choco Cookie, the skill text notes the debuff application rate scales with the caster’s Focus — so how reliably the Accuracy reduction sticks depends on his stats, while the damage lands regardless.

The only SSR Charge that grants nothing

This is the honest weakness. Three of the four SSR Charges supply a Synergy to the team:

Cookie Cooldown Grants Receives
Cream Soda 3.5s Range Projectile Speed
Strawberry Shortcake 6.2s Pierce Projectile Speed
Skating Queen 8.0s Chain Duration
Vampire 6.0s Chain

In a game where team building is largely a Synergy matching problem, a Cookie that contributes none is starting a step behind. Cream Soda and Strawberry Shortcake earn their slots partly by what they hand to the rest of the team; Vampire has to earn his purely on what he does himself.

What he does himself is target selection and a defensive debuff — real value, but harder to see than a Synergy chip on a card.

The Chain problem, and one neat solution

He receives Chain Synergy, tied for the rarest in the game with only two providers, both on 8-second cooldowns:

  • Skating Queen Cookie (SSR Charge) — 8.0s
  • Lime Cookie (SR Support) — 8.0s

There is a tidy consequence here. Skating Queen is also an SSR Charge, so a team running both puts two Charges on the frontline where one grants exactly what the other receives. That is not a coincidence of design so much as a convenience — if you pulled both, they belong together.

If you own neither Chain provider, Vampire works unbuffed. He simply never gets his multiplier, which is the same position Twizzly Gummy Cookie is in.

Team fit

He wants a Tank beside him rather than behind him — the Accuracy debuff protects the team best when he is in the middle of the enemies that matter, not trailing the line.

Behind that, any Ranged carry benefits from the enemies with the highest ATK being both damaged and made less accurate.

Fire element: extra damage to Grass, extra taken from Water. See the element chart.

Should you build him?

Yes, if you want a Charge that reduces incoming damage rather than one that hands out a Synergy. The high-ATK targeting is genuinely useful against mixed waves where a couple of enemies do most of the killing.

Take Cream Soda instead if your carry receives Range, or Strawberry Shortcake if your carry receives Pierce. Both of those choices are about the rest of the team; Vampire is the choice you make when the frontline slot is about the frontline.
