Cookie Run: Crumble — Blackberry Cookie (R Charge)

Blackberry Cookie is an R-rarity Dark-element Charge Cookie in CookieRun: Crumble. Their skill Ghost Servants runs on a 5-second cooldown and summons circling ghosts that damage enemies.

What Ghost Servants does

The in-game text is one sentence: circling ghosts deal damage to enemies. There is no second clause. No damage over time, no slow, no pull, no shield, no buff handed to allies. Blackberry activates, ghosts orbit, enemies take damage.

That shape matters more than it sounds. A skill that orbits the caster is tied to where the caster is standing, and Blackberry is a Charge — a class that closes distance. So the damage lands where Blackberry lands. There is nothing to aim and nothing to line up, which also means there is nothing to play around: Ghost Servants will never scatter a group another Cookie has just gathered.

Base stat values for R-rarity Cookies are not published in the data we have, so we are not going to quote ATK, DEF or HP numbers for Blackberry. The published stat templates cover SSR only. Anyone giving you exact R-rarity numbers is guessing.

Projectile Speed: exactly two Cookies can buff Blackberry

Blackberry receives Projectile Speed Synergy. Two Cookies in the whole roster grant it:

Alchemist is the better pairing, and it is not close on cooldown. 4.5 seconds against 10 seconds means Alchemist re-applies its effect more than twice as often over the same fight. It is also R rarity — the same shelf as Blackberry — so it is not a Cookie you have to chase.

This is the pattern the whole site keeps running into: an expensive Cookie is frequently not the one you need to unlock a Synergy. Pomegranate is SSR and buffs a lot of things, but for Blackberry specifically, a cheap R Ranged Cookie does the job on less than half the cooldown. If you already run Alchemist for another carry, Blackberry rides along for free. The full provider list for every Synergy is on the Synergy page.

One honest caveat: the skill text describes circling ghosts, not projectiles, and the game does not publish how Projectile Speed applies to an orbiting effect. We have not tested it. Take the pairing as “this is the Synergy Blackberry is tagged to receive”, not as a measured damage figure.

Blackberry grants nothing

Only 18 of the 69 launch Cookies grant a Synergy to their team. Blackberry is not one of them. Everything Blackberry contributes is contained in their own damage — there is no argument for benching a stronger Cookie to keep Blackberry on the field as an enabler, the way there is for Grapevine or Alchemist.

That is the single biggest thing separating a keeper low-rarity Cookie from a temporary one. A Cookie that grants a scarce Synergy stays useful for as long as somebody on the team wants that Synergy. A Cookie that only receives one competes on raw performance forever, and raw performance is where higher rarities win.

Competition: the R Charge shelf

Four Charge Cookies sit at R rarity. Here is the group:

Blackberry is third of four on cooldown, and the gap to the top two is large. Bear Jelly Worker cycles nearly three times per Blackberry activation. None of the four grants a Synergy, so speed and skill effect are the entire comparison — and on speed Blackberry loses badly.

There is one point in Blackberry’s favour. Bear Jelly Worker and Dark Cherry both receive Rapid Fire, the most contested Synergy in the game: twelve Cookies want it and two grant it. Blackberry’s Projectile Speed has only two providers as well, but far fewer Cookies queuing for them, so in practice a Projectile Speed provider is easier to actually spare for Blackberry than a Rapid Fire provider is for the other two. That is a real but modest consolation for a 5-second cooldown.

Should you build them?

Early on, yes — use whoever you have, and an R Charge with a clean, no-strings damage skill is perfectly serviceable for clearing early content. Blackberry asks nothing of your team composition and breaks nothing in it.

Long term, no. Blackberry grants no Synergy, so there is no roster-building reason to keep them once something better arrives, and two of their three direct classmates cycle more than twice as fast. If you are choosing which R Charge to invest levels and materials into, Bear Jelly Worker or Dark Cherry Cookie is the stronger default, with Blackberry as the pick if you happen to be running Alchemist anyway and want a body that benefits from a Synergy you are already paying for.
