Cookie Run: Crumble — Scorpion Cookie (SSR Ranged)

Scorpion Cookie is an SSR Fire-element Ranged Cookie in CookieRun: Crumble. Her skill Venom Sting runs on a 4.2-second cooldown, and she is the only SSR Ranged Cookie in the launch roster that receives two Synergies.

What Venom Sting does

She throws poison darts for immediate damage, then scatters poison darts ahead that apply Damage over Time.

Damage over time behaves differently from burst in an auto-battler. It keeps ticking while she is on cooldown, so her contribution is not confined to the moment the skill fires. On a 4.2-second cooldown with a lingering effect, her damage is close to continuous.

The trade is that DoT is poor against anything that dies fast, and poor in fights that end before the ticks land. She is a long-fight Cookie.

Two Synergies: the widest buff pool of any SSR Ranged

This is what genuinely distinguishes her. Every other SSR Ranged Cookie receives exactly one Synergy. Scorpion receives Volley and Duration, which means six different Cookies can buff her:

Twizzly Gummy has a better cooldown but only two Cookies in the game can amplify her. Scorpion has six, and both of her Duration providers are U rarity — free, effectively.

Duration in particular is the right Synergy for her kit: it increases how long a skill lasts, and her damage is a lingering DoT field. The two compound.

Team fit

Because six Cookies can buff her, she fits into teams that were not built for her. That is her practical advantage over higher-ceiling Ranged Cookies that need one specific partner.

The strongest pairing is Herb Cookie — an SR Support who grants Volley on a 6.5-second cooldown and heals. One slot covers her Synergy and the team’s sustain.

Standard construction otherwise: a Charge in front, a Tank to hold, and Scorpion behind them applying poison to whatever survives the frontline.

Should you build her?

Yes, especially on an incomplete roster. She is the SSR Ranged Cookie least likely to be stranded without a Synergy provider, and her 4.2-second cooldown is second-best in her class.

The honest caveat: damage over time is the weakest damage profile for clearing a wave quickly. If your problem is that enemies reach your back line before they die, a burst Cookie like Espresso will feel better even though Scorpion’s raw numbers are comparable.
