Zombie Cookie is a U-rarity Grass-element Tank in CookieRun: Crumble. Its skill Braiiiiins runs on a 2.5-second cooldown — the shortest of any Tank at any rarity we have data for — and it is one of the few Cookies in the game with a revive attached.

What Braiiiiins does
Two things, and the second is the reason to look at this Cookie at all.
- Charges forward, dealing damage to enemies in its path. A movement skill on a Tank, which is unusual — it closes distance rather than holding a line.
- Revives once upon death when Allies remain. One extra life per battle, with a condition: Allies have to still be alive. If Zombie Cookie is the last Cookie standing when it falls, the revive does nothing.
Per-stat base values are not published for U-rarity Cookies, so we are not going to make any up. What we can compare is cooldown, and 2.5 seconds is the number that matters here.
2.5 seconds is the whole argument
Zombie Cookie is a U Tank, the cheapest rarity band in the game, and it cycles its skill twice as often as either of its U-rarity classmates.
| U Tank | Skill | Cooldown | Grants Synergy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zombie Cookie | Braiiiiins | 2.5s | None |
| Knight Cookie | Cavalry Charge | 5.0s | Range |
| Gumball Cookie | Gumball Cannon | 5.25s | None |
Two of the three U Tanks have a forward-charging skill — Zombie Cookie and Knight Cookie both close distance — and Zombie Cookie does it at exactly half the interval. For a frontline body you are running because it is cheap, cycling twice as often is the most useful thing it can do.
For reference, the fastest SSR Tanks in the game sit at 4.0 seconds. Zombie Cookie is faster than all of them. It does not have SSR stats behind that skill, but the cooldown alone is not the reason to move off it.
Only two Cookies can buff it
Zombie Cookie receives one Synergy, Projectile Speed, and the entire supply of it in the game is two Cookies:
| Provider | Rarity | Class | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alchemist Cookie | R | Ranged | 4.5s |
| Pomegranate Cookie | SSR | Support | 10.0s |
Alchemist Cookie is the pairing. It is R rarity — one band above Zombie Cookie itself, and nowhere near the investment an SSR asks for — and its 4.5-second cooldown means it reapplies its Synergy more than twice as often as Pomegranate’s 10 seconds. This keeps happening across the roster: the cheap Cookie is not the fallback option for a Synergy, it is often the better one. You do not need a headline SSR to make Zombie Cookie work.
Pomegranate Cookie is still worth running if you already have it, since an SSR Support brings more to a team than one Synergy. But it is not an upgrade to Zombie Cookie specifically.
One honest note: Braiiiiins is described as a forward charge, with no projectile mentioned in the skill text. How Projectile Speed applies to a charge skill is not published, and we are not going to guess at it. The Synergy is listed on Zombie Cookie’s page; the interaction is not explained. Full provider list on the Synergy page.
It grants nothing back
Only 18 of the 69 launch Cookies grant a Synergy to their team at all. Zombie Cookie is not one of them — it receives Projectile Speed and gives nothing.
That is the concrete gap between it and Knight Cookie. Knight is the same rarity, the same class, and half as fast, but it grants Range, which SSR Cookies including Madeleine want. A U-rarity Cookie that feeds a Synergy to your expensive carry earns a slot long after its own stats stop mattering. Zombie Cookie does not have that lifeline.
So the two U Tanks age differently. Knight can sit in a finished team as a Synergy battery. Zombie Cookie is there because it is a good body right now.
Team fit
Grass element: extra damage to Water enemies, extra damage taken from Fire. See the element chart.
The revive is worth building around slightly. Because it only fires when Allies remain, Zombie Cookie is at its best in a team that is not on the verge of wiping — a durable back line keeps the revive live. A team that collapses all at once wastes it.
The charge is worth knowing about for the opposite reason. Zombie Cookie does not stay put; it moves into the enemy every 2.5 seconds. If you are running a Cookie whose skill gathers or knocks back enemies, Zombie Cookie will be somewhere in the middle of that when it happens.
Should you build it?
Early on, yes. U rarity means it is cheap to raise, the 2.5-second cooldown beats every Tank in the game on paper, and a free extra life per battle is real value at the point where you are losing runs to attrition. Pair it with Alchemist Cookie if you have one.
Later, probably not. It grants no Synergy, and the one thing it clearly has over the SSR Tanks — cooldown — matters less once the Tank’s job is surviving rather than cycling. When you are choosing which U Tank to keep long term, Knight Cookie’s Range Synergy is the more durable reason to own a Cookie.
The short version: build it while it is carrying you, and do not feel obliged to keep it once something else can hold the front.

FAQ
What is Zombie Cookie's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Braiiiiins, on a 2.5-second cooldown. Zombie Cookie charges forward and damages enemies in its path, and revives once upon death as long as Allies remain. 2.5 seconds is the shortest cooldown of any U-rarity Tank.
Which Cookies buff Zombie Cookie in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Zombie Cookie receives Projectile Speed Synergy, and only two Cookies grant it: Alchemist Cookie (R rarity, 4.5-second cooldown) and Pomegranate Cookie (SSR, 10-second cooldown). Alchemist cycles more than twice as often and is the cheaper of the two.
Does Zombie Cookie really come back to life in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Yes, once per battle. The skill text says it revives upon death when Allies remain, so the revive does not fire if Zombie Cookie is the last Cookie standing when it dies.
Is Zombie Cookie worth building in Cookie Run: Crumble?
It is a strong early Tank because it is U rarity, cycles every 2.5 seconds and effectively has a second life. It grants no Synergy to the team, so it tends to be replaced once you have SSR Tanks or need Knight Cookie's Range Synergy.
