The fastest Tank in the game, by a long way
Cooldown is where she is genuinely exceptional. Compare her against every SSR Tank — Cookies of far higher rarity:
| Cookie | Rarity | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| Berry Yogurt | R | 1.5s |
| Madeleine | SSR | 4.0s |
| Strawberry Crepe | SSR | 4.0s |
| Schwarzwälder | SSR | 4.2s |
| Dark Choco | SSR | 6.0s |
| Ion Cookie Robot | SSR | 7.0s |
| Nameless Cake Hound | SSR | 7.2s |
She activates roughly 2.7 times for every once Madeleine does, and nearly five times for every Nameless Cake Hound activation.
Across the whole roster only two Cookies are faster: Red Pepper Cookie at 0.8 seconds and Devil Cookie at 1.25 seconds. Neither is a Tank.
What she does not do
Rarity sets the stat floor in Crumble. The six SSR Tanks all share 124 ATK / 120 DEF / 3,255 HP; Berry Yogurt’s own numbers are not published, but R rarity places her below that line.
The bigger gap is utility. Her skill is plain damage — she grants no Synergy, applies no debuff, shields nobody. Compare what the SSR Tanks bring beyond a body:
- Dark Choco Cookie — reduces enemy DEF, so everyone behind him hits harder
- Ion Cookie Robot — shields itself and low-HP allies
- Nameless Cake Hound — reduces damage taken by nearby allies
- Schwarzwälder — stuns
Berry Yogurt smashes, quickly. That is the whole kit.
Who buffs her
She receives Range Synergy, the easiest Synergy in the game to cover — 18 Cookies want it and four grant it:
| Provider | Rarity | Class | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda Cookie | SSR | Charge | 3.5s |
| Knight Cookie | U | Tank | 5.0s |
| Toothpaste Cookie | SSR | Support | 6.5s |
| Macaron Cookie | SR | Support | 7.0s |
Knight Cookie is U rarity — one of the cheapest units in the game — and covers Range adequately at 5 seconds. For an early account running Berry Yogurt, that is the realistic pairing rather than an SSR you may not own.
She shares Range with Espresso Cookie, Milky Way Cookie, Madeleine and Nameless Cake Hound, so one provider covers the Tank and your carry at once. Full table on the Synergy page.
Competition: the other R-rarity Tank
There is exactly one: Cocoa Cookie. So if you want an R-rarity Tank, these are your two options, and Berry Yogurt is the one you already own.
Moving up a rarity means an SSR Tank, all of which bring utility she does not. Moving down to U rarity is interesting for a different reason: Knight Cookie grants Range rather than receiving it, so it buffs Berry Yogurt rather than competing with her.
Element
Water. She deals extra damage to Fire enemies and takes extra damage from Grass. For a Tank that matters more than for a back-line Cookie — she is the one standing in the damage. Against a Grass-heavy stage, consider whether a different Tank holds the line better. See the element chart.
Should you build her?
Yes early. She is free, she is a Tank, and her cooldown beats every SSR Tank in the game. That combination carries the opening campaign comfortably.
Replace her when you pull an SSR Tank with utility. The reason is not that she stops working — it is that a Tank slot doing only “be a body” is wasted once you own one that also strips DEF, shields allies or stuns. Her speed is real, but it is speed applied to plain damage.

FAQ
What is Berry Yogurt Cookie's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Yogurt Smash, on a 1.5-second cooldown. That is the third-fastest cooldown in the launch roster, behind only Red Pepper Cookie (0.8s) and Devil Cookie (1.25s), and faster than every SSR Tank in the game.
Which Cookies boost Berry Yogurt in Cookie Run: Crumble?
She receives Range Synergy, the best-supplied Synergy in the game. Four Cookies grant it: Cream Soda (SSR, 3.5s), Knight (U, 5s), Toothpaste (SSR, 6.5s) and Macaron (SR, 7s). Knight is U rarity, so even a new account can cover it.
Is Berry Yogurt worth keeping in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Early, yes — she is free and her cooldown beats every SSR Tank. Replace her once you pull a Tank with utility, because her skill is plain damage: no shield, no debuff, no Synergy granted.
What element is Berry Yogurt Cookie in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Water. She deals extra damage to Fire enemies and takes extra damage from Grass. That matters more for a Tank than for a back-line Cookie, since the Tank is the one absorbing hits.
