What Mighty Macaron Parade does

The in-game text reads: deals damage to enemies as Macarons march forward, grants CRIT% Increase to allies, and grants Range Synergy. Broken into parts:

  • Damage. A forward-marching wave of Macarons. It is a Support skill, so treat this as incidental chip damage rather than a win condition.
  • CRIT% Increase to allies. A team-wide buff on a 7-second cycle. The magnitude is not published, so we are not going to guess at a number.
  • Range Synergy. The part that actually decides whether Macaron is on your team.

Base ATK, DEF and HP values are not published for Macaron, so there is no stat table on this page and none is estimated. Everything below is drawn from the skill text, the cooldown, and the Synergy wiring — the parts that are documented.

The Synergy that Macaron grants

Macaron grants Range, and 18 Cookies receive it:

Espresso Cookie, Madeleine Cookie, Milky Way Cookie, Nameless Cake Hound, Schwarzwalder, Rockstar Cookie, Alchemist Cookie, Berry Yogurt Cookie, Grapevine Cookie, Poison Mushroom Cookie, Cheerleader Cookie, Knight Cookie, Onion Cookie, Princess Cookie, Red Pepper Cookie, GingerBrave, Muscle Cookie and Sugar Gnome.

That is a wide recipient list, and it is the practical argument for keeping an SR Support in rotation. A Synergy is only worth a team slot if somebody on the team actually takes it, and with 18 names on the list most rosters will have at least one recipient without being built around Macaron on purpose. GingerBrave is on that list, which means the starter Cookie most players still have benefits from Macaron’s skill.

One name to notice: Rockstar Cookie receives Range, and Rockstar is also an SR Support — Macaron’s own classmate. Two Supports in the same class, where one feeds the other, is a cleaner pairing than it first looks.

Full provider and recipient tables for every Synergy are on the Synergy page.

Who buffs Macaron

Macaron receives Rapid Fire Synergy. The supply side is thin — only two Cookies grant it:

Provider Rarity Class Cooldown
Grapevine Cookie R Support 5.5s
Orange Cookie SR Support 9.5s

Grapevine Cookie is the faster pairing on cooldown alone: 5.5 seconds against 9.5 is not a close comparison, and Grapevine is R rarity — a cheaper Cookie covering an SR Cookie’s Synergy.

There is a loop here worth knowing. Grapevine Cookie is itself one of the 18 Cookies that receive Range. So Macaron grants Range to Grapevine, and Grapevine grants Rapid Fire back to Macaron. The two feed each other with no third Cookie involved, which is unusual — most Synergy pairings in this data set run one direction only.

The other option, Orange Cookie, is an SR Support like Macaron. Running Orange for Rapid Fire means spending a second Support slot on a Cookie that competes with Macaron for the same team position, and Orange’s own skill, Juicy Smash, sits on a 9.5-second cooldown. Orange in turn receives Duration, so it wants a third Cookie to be at its best. Grapevine asks less of the rest of the team.

Competition: the other SR Supports

Cookie Skill Cooldown Grants Receives
Dr. Bones Cookie Emergency CPR 5.75s Chain
Herb Cookie Sunny Garden 6.5s Volley Rapid Fire
Macaron Cookie Mighty Macaron Parade 7.0s Range Rapid Fire
Lime Cookie Beach Ball Surprise 8.0s Chain Volley
Orange Cookie Juicy Smash 9.5s Rapid Fire Duration
Rockstar Cookie Legend of Rock 10.0s Pierce Range

Macaron sits mid-pack on cooldown in this group: slower than Dr. Bones Cookie and Herb Cookie, faster than Lime, Orange and Rockstar. Five of these six grant a Synergy, so granting something is not a distinction inside this class — the distinction is which Synergy, and how many Cookies take it.

Herb Cookie is the closest direct comparison. Half a second faster, also receives Rapid Fire, but grants Volley where Macaron grants Range. If your carry takes Range, that is Macaron. If it takes Volley, that is Herb. There is no version of this where one of them is simply better than the other; it depends entirely on the rest of the team.

Dr. Bones Cookie is the outlier: the fastest cooldown in the class at 5.75 seconds, but it grants nothing at all and only receives Chain. Speed without a grant is a different job from what Macaron does.

Build Macaron if you are running any of the 18 Range recipients — most rosters will be — and especially if you already have Grapevine Cookie, since the two loop into each other.

Do not build Macaron as a damage dealer. The Parade damage is a Support’s damage, and the 7-second cooldown is on the slower half of the SR Support class. The value is the grant and the CRIT% Increase, not the wave itself.

The honest framing: Macaron’s job is to be the Range provider you already own. Whether it keeps that job on a finished roster depends on what else you pull, and that is a call we cannot make for you.
