What Brave Dash does
He bravely charges forward, knocking back enemies in his path while dealing damage.
| Value | At base | At max promotion |
|---|---|---|
| Damage dealt | 278.6% of ATK | 360% of ATK |
| Knockback | 3.5 | 3.5 |
| Airborne | 0.45s | 0.6s |
| Effect radius | (Range) 1 | (Range) 1 |
278.6% of ATK is a big number for a C-rarity Cookie. Promotion pushes it to 360%, which is a meaningful climb — unlike some Cookies where the per-level gain is a few percent, GingerBrave gains roughly 30% of his base damage from full investment.
The honest caveat is the one that applies to every C-rarity unit: a large multiplier applied to a small base ATK is still a small number. Rarity sets the stat floor, and his is the lowest tier in the game.
Knockback works against your damage dealers
Worth knowing before you build a team around him. Brave Dash pushes enemies away with 3.5 knockback and 0.45 seconds of airborne time.
That is fine on its own, but it fights any Cookie whose kit wants enemies clustered — most obviously Espresso Cookie, whose skill gathers enemies into a pile before detonating on them. Running GingerBrave in front of Espresso means one Cookie scattering what the other assembled.
Cookies that do not care where enemies stand — Twizzly Gummy Cookie’s chaining lightning, for instance — pair with him without friction.
Who buffs him
He receives Range Synergy, which is the easiest Synergy in the game to cover:
| Provider | Rarity | Class | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cream Soda Cookie | SSR | Charge | 3.5s |
| Knight Cookie | U | Tank | 5.0s |
| Toothpaste Cookie | SSR | Support | 6.5s |
| Macaron Cookie | SR | Support | 7.0s |
Cream Soda has the shortest cooldown, but Knight Cookie is U rarity — a cheap unit that covers Range perfectly well at 5 seconds. For an early account running GingerBrave, Knight is the realistic partner: both are low-rarity Cookies you will actually own.
More Range widens his dash radius, which means the charge connects with more of the wave. Full provider table on the Synergy page.
Competition: the other C-rarity Charges
| Cookie | Skill | Cooldown | Receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| GingerBright | Jolly Candy | 2.75s | Duration |
| GingerBrave | Brave Dash | 4.0s | Range |
| Strawberry Cookie | Stay Away… | 4.0s | Duration |
| Sugar Gnome | Hammer of Revolution | 4.25s | Range |
| Skater Cookie | Rolling Faster | 4.75s | Chain |
GingerBright cycles faster than everyone here. GingerBrave’s argument against them is the multiplier — 278.6% on a single hit is far above what the others land per activation.
Against Sugar Gnome, who shares his Range Synergy, GingerBrave is the better pick on cooldown (4.0s against 4.25s). Against Strawberry Cookie, the choice is which Synergy you can supply: Range has four providers, Duration has three, and both include a U-rarity option. Skater Cookie is the one to avoid on Synergy grounds — Skater receives Chain, and both Chain providers are SR or SSR, so there is no cheap way to switch it on.
None of these five grants a Synergy to the team. That is normal at C rarity — of the 18 Cookies in the game that grant Synergy, none are C.
Should you build him?
Level him early, and expect to replace him.
He is a genuinely effective early-campaign Charge: a 4-second cooldown, the biggest C-tier multiplier, and a Synergy that even a thin roster can supply. That combination clears the opening stages fine.
There is no structural reason to keep him afterwards. Some low-rarity Cookies stay relevant because they grant a Synergy nobody else supplies — Knight Cookie at U rarity is one of only four Range sources, and Grapevine at R rarity is one of only two Rapid Fire sources. GingerBrave grants nothing. Once you pull an SSR Charge like Cream Soda or Strawberry Shortcake, he has no job left.
His Fire element deals extra damage to Grass enemies and takes extra from Water — see the element chart.

FAQ
What is GingerBrave's skill in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Brave Dash, on a 4-second cooldown. He bravely charges forward, knocking back enemies in his path while dealing damage. At base it deals 278.6% of ATK with 3.5 knockback and 0.45 seconds of airborne time, rising to 360% of ATK at max promotion.
Is GingerBrave good in Cookie Run: Crumble?
For a C-rarity Cookie, his multiplier is unusually high — 278.6% of ATK on a single hit. The catch is that C rarity means low base stats, so a big multiplier on a small number is still a small number. He carries the early campaign and is replaced later.
Which Cookies boost GingerBrave in Cookie Run: Crumble?
He receives Range Synergy, the best-supplied Synergy in the game. Four Cookies grant it: Cream Soda (SSR, 3.5s), Knight (U, 5s), Toothpaste (SSR, 6.5s) and Macaron (SR, 7s). Knight is U rarity, so this is cheap to cover on any account.
Should you keep GingerBrave in your team in Cookie Run: Crumble?
Only until you pull a higher-rarity Charge. He grants no Synergy to the team, so unlike some low-rarity Cookies there is no structural reason to keep him once something better arrives.
