Cookie Run: Crumble — Orange Cookie (SR Support)

Orange Cookie — CookieRun: Crumble

Orange Cookie is an SR Water-element Support in CookieRun: Crumble. Their skill Juicy Smash runs on a 9.5-second cooldown, it grants CRIT% Increase to allies, and it grants Rapid Fire Synergy — a Synergy that twelve different Cookies in the roster are listed as receiving. The cooldown is long for the class; the Synergy grant is the reason to look past that.

What Juicy Smash does

The in-game skill text reads: “Hits a ball, dealing damage to enemies Deals damage to enemies with a refreshing serve, grants CRIT% Increase to Allies, and grants Multistrike Synergy” — the doubled opening clause is in the game’s own text, not a transcription slip on our side.

Stripped of the duplication, the skill is doing three things on one button:

  1. Damage to enemies hit by the serve.
  2. CRIT% Increase to allies — this is a team buff, not a self buff. Orange is not improving their own crit rate with it; the value lands on whoever else is on the field.
  3. A Synergy grant to the team.

One note on naming, because it will confuse you if you cross-reference sources. The skill text calls the granted Synergy Multistrike, while the Synergy tables list Orange as a Rapid Fire provider. These appear to be the same effect under two labels, and we use the table’s name — Rapid Fire — throughout this page, because that is the name the recipient Cookies are indexed under. If you search “Multistrike” and find nothing, that is why.

Per-stat base values are not published for Orange Cookie, so this page gives no ATK, DEF or HP numbers. Anyone quoting an exact stat line for this Cookie is filling in a blank.

Twelve Cookies receive Rapid Fire from Orange

This is the whole case for the Cookie. Orange is a Synergy granter, and the Synergy they grant has an unusually long recipient list. These are the twelve Cookies listed as receiving Rapid Fire:

Recipient
Melon Soda Cookie
Space Doughnut’s Royal Excellence
Strawberry Crepe Cookie
Dr. Wasabi Cookie
Herb Cookie
Macaron Cookie
Rye Cookie
Bear Jelly Worker
Cherry Cookie
Dark Cherry Cookie
Coffee Cookie
Wizard Cookie

Two of those names should jump out at anyone building a Support line: Herb Cookie and Macaron Cookie are Orange’s own classmates, both SR Supports, and both are on the receiving end of Rapid Fire. Orange can buff either of them, and neither of them grants anything back to Orange. Coffee Cookie is the other name to note, for reasons covered in the next section.

The practical rule is simple: before you invest in Orange, check whether anything on your team is on that list. If nothing is, the Synergy half of Juicy Smash does nothing for you, and you are paying a 9.5-second cooldown for damage and a CRIT% buff alone. If two or three of your slots are on the list, the same skill is feeding your whole board.

Who buffs Orange: Duration

Orange receives exactly one Synergy, Duration. Three Cookies are listed as granting it:

Provider Rarity Class Cooldown
Cheerleader Cookie U Support 5.0s
Coffee Cookie U Support 5.0s
Milk Cookie’s Crunchy Strong Pediatrician SSR Support 7.0s

Read that table carefully, because it makes a point this site keeps running into: the two shortest-cooldown Duration providers are U rarity — the cheapest tier — and both cycle at 5.0 seconds against the SSR option’s 7.0. You do not need to pull anything to cover Orange’s incoming Synergy. Cheerleader Cookie or Coffee Cookie does it, and does it on a faster cycle.

Coffee Cookie is the standout pairing. Coffee grants Duration to Orange, and Coffee is also one of the twelve Cookies that receives Rapid Fire from Orange. The two buff each other. That kind of closed loop is uncommon, and it means a Coffee-plus-Orange back line is doing useful work in both directions rather than one Cookie carrying the other while the second sits there as a battery.

One planning cost worth naming: all three Duration providers are Supports. Pairing Orange with any of them means committing two Support slots to the back line, so the rest of your team has to carry the damage and the frontline duties on its own.

Cooldown in context: the six SR Supports

Cookie Skill Cooldown Grants Receives
Dr. Bones Cookie Emergency CPR 5.75s Chain
Herb Cookie Sunny Garden 6.5s Volley Rapid Fire
Macaron Cookie Mighty Macaron Parade 7.0s Range Rapid Fire
Lime Cookie Beach Ball Surprise 8.0s Chain Volley
Orange Cookie Juicy Smash 9.5s Rapid Fire Duration
Rockstar Cookie Legend of Rock 10.0s Pierce Range

On cooldown alone, Orange has the second-longest cycle of the six. Only Rockstar Cookie is slower. Dr. Bones Cookie recharges in 5.75 seconds — Orange takes roughly two-thirds longer than that between activations, which over a full fight is a meaningful number of missed procs.

The counterweight is what the cooldown is attached to. Look at the Grants column: each of these six Cookies hands out a different Synergy, and Orange is the only one of the six that hands out Rapid Fire. Dr. Bones Cookie grants nothing at all. If the Synergy your carry wants is Rapid Fire, none of the faster Supports on this table is a substitute — a shorter cooldown on the wrong Synergy is not an upgrade.

Team fit

Orange Cookie is a Water-element Support; see the element chart for how elements interact.

The team Orange is built for is one that already contains a Rapid Fire recipient. Melon Soda Cookie heads the recipient list, and pairing the two means Orange’s grant lands somewhere useful every cycle. Add Coffee Cookie for Duration and the back line becomes mutually reinforcing: Coffee extends Orange, Orange multiplies Coffee, and both are still buffing the rest of the team.

If your carry is not on the recipient list, treat Orange as a damage-plus-CRIT% Support and judge them on that alone — at which point the 9.5-second cooldown is a real cost with no Synergy payoff to offset it.

Should you build them?

Build Orange Cookie if a Cookie on your team receives Rapid Fire and you want a Support who also contributes damage and a team-wide CRIT% buff. Skip them if nothing you field is on the recipient list.

The decision genuinely is that binary. Orange’s cooldown is near the bottom of their class, the CRIT% and damage are ordinary Support output, and the Synergy grant is the part that makes the Cookie worth a slot. Twelve possible recipients is a wide net, so the odds are decent that something in your box qualifies — but check the list rather than assuming.

Being a granter also gives Orange a kind of staying power that low-rarity Cookies usually lack. A Support with no Synergy output gets replaced as soon as a better Cookie of the same class shows up; a Support that is the class’s only source of a particular Synergy stays relevant as long as anything on your team wants that Synergy. That is a narrower kind of value than raw strength, and we would rather state it plainly than dress it up.

We have not played the game, and we are not placing Orange anywhere on a ladder. The tier list tool is built from community votes, not from us.
